One person’s trash is another’s treasure!
I saved this napkin from the trashcan after a student used it to clean her brush from painting. It now has a permanent home upon my wall serving as a reminder of “there are no mistakes, only happy accidents”.

In the fall of 2021, I developed and instructed six acrylic paintings for a before school program in a Chesterfield county elementary school. Each week, I created a painting after asking the students what they wanted to learn and paint. The before school program was one hour long and the series of paintings I taught reflected the students interests. We even modeled a painting after Bob Ross as their school mascot, an alligator. We had so much fun painting together and I am proud of all my students!
